How to Get Around Spain

Spain is super easy to navigate given its extensive railway network. When traveling between cities, the easiest way to get around is with high speed trains. These trains are punctual and very comfortable, though we recommend buying tickets a few days in advance if possible because they can get quite expensive if you’re buying last minute.

If you’re traveling between smaller towns and villages, you can use the regional trains that are a bit slower but are more affordable than the high speed trains. There are also tons of bus routes around the country that are useful if the place you’re going to isn’t connected to the railway network.
